Launched in October 1973 as Classic Car but renamed Thoroughbred & Classic Cars after the Classic Car Club of America objected. First issue of T&CC was October 1974 (Volume 2, Number 1). Over time the masthead has been shortened to Classic Cars although it is still registered as T&CC.
