Text from oldracingcars.com:
"Motor Racing", described as the official organ of the British Racing & Sports Car Club (BRSCC) was first published in January 1954 as a successer to "Iota" and continued until February 1970. OldRacingCars.com's collection is focused on the 1960s but we are interested in acquiring copies from earlier.
The magazine was edited and published by Roy Pearl in London the 1950s and then edited by Cyril Posthumus with Doug Nye as deputy editor and published from West Wickham, Kent until mid-1968. It absorbed "Motor Rally" in the late 1950s and Brands Hatch's "Sportscar" magazine in 1967. Alan Brinton then took over the editor's chair with Ray Hutton as assistant editor bringing in a dramatic change in style - the location of the cover picture changing from Mallory Park to the Playboy Club. The magazine ceased in early 1970 with its articles appearing in race programmes thereafter.
