ROAD & TRACK 1950 JULY/AUG Vol2-1 - RARE & COLLECTIBLE

On The Cover: Racers at speed at Bridgehampton.

This is a monthly magazine but a statement in the front explains the dual months on this issue.  "Beginning with this issue, Road & Track will be available on the newsstands in all of the principal cities of the United States and in other countries thruout the world.  Improve circulation has been made possible by the appointment of Kable News Company as national distributors for Road & Track.  To allow sufficient time for shipment to distant points, it is necessary to advance the publication date by several weeks.  This may be best accomplished by designating this issue 'July-08.'  The next issue will be 'September'.."
