RoyalAuto is the official magazine of the Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV) Ltd.
It began in 1922 as a monthly supplement in The Australian Motorist. In 1925, it was launched as a stand-alone publication called R.A.C.V., renamed the Royal Auto Journal in 1928. In March 1936, this changed to The Radiator, a newspaper-style journal. In November 1953, the magazine became a colour publication called Royalauto. It later dropped back to six issues per year and was named RA.
Its last paper copy was published in April 2018. It is now on-line only.
