Short description:
Number 1 of Autopoche arrived on newsstands in February 1968. The last, number 54, appeared in November 1972. This monthly existed in two formats: 136 x 185 square back from number 1 to number 33, then 175 x 260 Staple-bound from issue 34 to issue 54. In the first reduced-format formula, each issue had between 120 and 150 pages depending on the month, with the exception of the larger 'Salon' issues. In the second version, an issue of Autopoche had between 80 and 120 pages. Over a period of 58 months, this monthly appeared 54 times, with some irregularities the first year, probably following the events of May 1968, and because of a single issue for the months of July and August 1972. The main originality d'Autopoche is mentioned in its title. No competitor at the time offered such a reduced format in 1968. The Auto Journal was still in its large-format newspaper version.
