Short description:
Englebert is a Belgian tire manufacturer company founded by Oscar Englebert in Liège in 1877. The manufacturer took part in 61 Formula 1 Grand Prix from 1950 to 1958.
Englebert Magazine exists in two different editions, one for Belgium, the other for France and its colonies.
It is not an independent publication like other contemporary periodicals such as Automobilia, L'Automobile or l'Action Automobile. It is halfway between the corporate promotional magazine and the general public magazine dealing mainly, but not exclusively, with automotive subjects.
Finally, we should mention the review Englebert Vélo Magazine, published for bicycle mechanic traders from 1949. It notably includes reports on great Belgian and foreign riders. (source: http://leroux.andre.free.fr/englebert.htm)
