The magazine Hobby initially offered handicrafts and building instructions for all kinds of things. Over the years, the building instructions have become more sophisticated. An essential part were the articles on the latest achievements of the technology of that time, with its courageous, from today's point of view almost bizarre visions of the future, which were written in a forward-looking and technology-loving style. The magazine also accompanied the first developments in the field of home computers. As can easily be seen from the cover pictures, the car was again and again the focus of attention.
