I have a question or a suggestion for discussion. In times of progressive digitisation, it seems appropriate to me to ask whether a digitised version of a font can be equated with a printed one and can also be covered with a green “Have” button. I do not mean pirated copies, but copies legally purchased from the publisher on DVDs, USB sticks or by other means. Of course, I still prefer the printed magazine or book, partly because of the lack of space or other reasons for accessing digitized copies. I have also digitized parts of my collection for space reasons myself. So here’s my question: „Does a digitized magazine get a “have” or not. Or does a fourth button have to be introduced for “Digital version”?
Hi @digl1pet, it is up to the individual member how they want to use their "have" button, and whether they want to track their digital copies this way. I do agree it would be useful for members to be able to track whether it is part of their printed or digital collection, so I will look at adding an option to do this. I have some other ideas in this area that I have been thinking about so keep an eye out for some improvements in the near future.
