Want and Sale symbols

It appears that the blue heart want symbol and the yellow sell symbol are only visible to members when logged in and looking at their own collection.
A visitor to the site cannot see these symbols and must interrogate each individual issue to determine its status.
Can these symbols be lit if an issue is wanted or is for sale by any member so that a visitor can see at a glance its status without interrogating each issue? They can then determine quickly who wants/is selling multiple issues. The visitor will then need to join the site to transact with other members.

Hi Brian. Thanks for the suggestion. Are you referring to the symbols up the top or the 'tab' near the description?

I left the ones up the top to try and show non-members that they can keep track of their collection and issues wanted (if they join).

The tab near the description is probably not very obvious to people what it does and I should probably move it out of a tab or make it more clear what it is for. Maybe if I go back to the way it was earlier where I say '2 members have/want/are selling this issue'?

I'm referring to the symbols directly below the cover scan where all 4 symbols are.

For visitors looking for multiple issues of a magazine, having the want/sell symbols active could be a good help and a time saver. It is then easy to click on the required issue(s) to see who wants or is selling that particular issue without checking all of the issues.

So it's the symbols on the list of magazine pages, not the individual magazine pages?

Ok, that's a good suggestion. I will work on some improvements for these.

I have now added this to the various pages that show a list of issues. Let me know what you think.

I also improved the item page a little by making it clearer when members have or want an issue.

Lastly, I added a "fun" feature to member profile pages where you can see some statistics such as number of issues and publications created and updated, forum posts, etc.

Initially I could not see any change as I thought that activating the symbols would be simplest. Then I realised that you had added extra symbols directly under the issue name/number. That works as a visitor can see at a glance which issues are for sale without checking each issue.
The statistics on the profile page are interesting and quite informative.
