The oldtimer magazine Autmobil- und Motorrad-Chronik first appeared in 1972 under the name „Automobil Chronik". In 1983 the name was changed to „Automobil- und Motorrad-Chronik". The Automobil- und Motorrad-Chronik was the first purely veteran magazine in Germany. For a while, the magazine contained English captions and a summarizing English text.
