HOT ROD 1992 SEPT - FASTEST ST. CARS, 540 hp WINDSOR
This issue has two major parts. The first is the 10 fastest street cars. This includes a '57 Vette, 2-'68 Camaros, a '78 Malibu, a '67 Vette, a '66 Nova, 3-'69 Camaros, and a '86 Buick Grand National. The second section on how-to-build a 540 hp Ford Windsor engine.
Cars pictured are a Pro Street '68 Camaro, a '64 pro street Ford Galaxie, several rods and a '64 Falcon Wagon. The 1992 Hot Rod Super Nationals is covered along with a shoot-out of two Hot Rod Project cars: a 5.0L Mustang and a '91 Camaro.
Tech articles cover Chevy braking/handling tricks, '67-'69 Camaro suspension, brakes and rear-end build-ups and hot rod building.
